Terry Govan combines vibrant colors with bold patterns in painting, drawing, crafting, and sewing. Experimenting with a variety of media, styles, and projects, she creates for joy and serenity, and has done so for as long as she can remember. Her abstract art tiles—watercolor and acrylic squares—work in combination like a mosaic or as stand-alone statements. She experiments with ways to reproduce them in patterns and on everyday products, such as earrings and magnets.

 

GoTe Creations is her creative business name for which she designs and makes all her own packaging. She’s also known for her unique, handmade owl-pillows and has sold them from the Seacoast to Keene, New Hampshire. Terry believes life is better with more color and her art reflects that.
