Grace Kerr
Ceramics

Grace Kerr was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and moved to the U.S. in 1987. She received a Fashion Design degree from the Clarissa School of Fashion Design. After graduation, she spent two years running her own personal design studio producing custom bridal dresses. In 1995, Grace relocated to New York City to work in the Fashion Industry as a Technical Designer. In 2011, Grace returned to school to her continue
education. She received a B.F.A. in ceramics from Queens College - CUNY and a M.F.A. in ceramics from Syracuse University. She taught Ceramics at the VPA-School of Art and Fashion Design at the VPA-School of Design, both at Syracuse University.
Grace attended the Taoxichuan Autumn Collection international show in Jingdezhen, China as a representative of Queens College. In her senior year at Queens College, she was the first BFA student to hold a solo exhibition. “Freedom of Mind” showcased her ceramic, painting and sculptures. Grace was nominated for the 1st Place award in
Ceramics at the Art without Borders international exhibition competition. She is a juried member at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and her work is exhibited in the League galleries located at Center Sandwich, Concord, Hooksett, Littleton, Meredith and North Conway. She recently presented in two group exhibitions: “Art, Craft &
Design: The Exhibition” at League of N.H. Craftsmen 92nd Annual Craftsmen’s Fair: Received best in Decorative Ceramics Award. And “Master Pieces 10” at Manifest Gallery.
