Mary Woolverton

Mary Woolverton may be new to the Monadnock region, but she is most definitely not new to art.  Widely exhibited in Maine and New Hampshire, Woolverton has two art degrees and has taught the subject at all levels. 

 

Her background as a published illustrator and experience as a Scientific Artist and Graphics Specialist for the University of New Hampshire all inform her paintings and drawings.  Concentrating on her drawing and painting now, Woolverton’s work may look simply wrought but contains a deep understanding of her subjects and a bit of mystery as well.
